Some fun cakes

The Strawberry Shortcake doll cake was my first time making a doll cake. My girls went crazy over this one and of course asked for one of their very own. So neat that Strawberry Shortcake is still adored by som many little girls, as she was my favorite when I was a little girl.

The Pokemon cake brought back a lot of memories for me as my now 17-year-old twin brothers LOVED Pokemon when they were young!

Forest Themed Wedding Rehearsal Cake and Cupcake Tower

This was for a wedding rehearsal that had a forest theme to it. All buttercream cake, fondant leaves that were polished with edible shellac, chocolate curls to represent tree bark, a fondant-covered cake board to represent a tree stump, acorns, and a little ladybug on top for good luck! I delivered this to Salisbury.

My first attempt at these crazy cake pops. These are getting more and more popular! I made them for a friend's daughter's birthday. Thank you to Stephanie, a fellow, http://www.mycakeschool.com/ member that I have befriended for all her great tips!

Sangria butterfly wedding cupcake tower

This is 6 dozen cupcakes with a 2-tier cake on top. All flowers are made from gumpaste. The butterflies were purchased from the craft store. The flavors of these cupcakes were: cookies and cream filled choc cupcakes, margarita lime, blueberry, peanut butter cup choc, strawberry and choc cherry cola flavors. Yummo!
The flowers at this wedding were gorgeous! The florist supplied me with a few stems of orchids to dress up the tower. I was very pleased with how this turned out.

Not taking order for the next 2 months

I'm not taking anymore orders for the months of September and October. I'm booked! I am really sad about this, as I LOVE making these cakes, but I am stretched too thin right now with my work schedule, home/family and cakes. Something had to give!
If you have already contacted me for availability for these dates, but have not ordered or made a deposit, I may still be able to help you. Please just contact me.
Please feel free to contact me for November dates and beyond, as we can go ahead and get those cake designed and ordered.
Thanks!
