2 Tier 50th Birthday Cake

This was a 6" on a 10" cake covered in fondant with all fondant/gumpaste accents. The cake was a dark chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and ganache icing. The colors were so pretty. Everything is food safe/edible except the jewelry on the bow. This cake will feed approximately 50 people. I delivered this cake at Macaroni Grill at the Friendly Shopping Center.

Another busy weekend!

This was for a repeat, very great customer! Her son was turning 7. They were having a pool party at the Y. Fun, fun! 1 dozen were allergen-friendly.

This was a last minute order for a little boy's tractor themed birthday party. This was definitely my farthest delivery yet. Graham, NC! Thank to my dear husband for helping me with the tractors. Making 48 tractors in 1 week, is tough!

This was for a 23-year-old girl's birthday party. She wanted it sexy and fun. Purple, turquoise and gold was the color scheme. I had another hand in trying to carve a cake again. This was in the shape of a corset...so it was supposed to have the appearance of a woman's figure. Not sure if I nailed it, but pretty decent.

Nascar Cupcake / Cake Tower

Vroom, vroom! Another fun one! Oreo cookie crumbs on top for race track. It ended up looking more like a dirt track instead of a Nascar race track, but I'll keep working on that design. With a 8" cake though, there's not a lot of room.

Dinosaur Theme Cupcake Tower

This was my first little boy's party. A young man by the name of Nicholas was turning 3 and of course the party theme was dinosaurs. The party was held at the Natural Science Center here in Greensboro. I had so much fun with this tower. There was chocolate and butter/yellow cupcakes and buttercream icing. The Mom supplied the dinosaurs for the toppers of the cakes. The number 3 was made from fondant I colored as well as the leaves I cut from the fondant. LOTS of FUN!!
